Culture was highly goal oriented- not only focusing on the ultimate end goal, but the methods and steps taken as well. Through the heavy use of continuous improvement fundamentals, I was able to learn about efficiency and root cause analysis. The culture allowed for a dedicated mindset in improvement of strategies used on a daily or occasional basis.

Between working with both full-time employees and the many customers serviced by DTE, I felt a strong, positive culture that resonated throughout the community that they serviced. Knowing that our work would directly impact much of Southeast Michigan, it was a very driven atmosphere.

The companies culture overall is one of safety. DTE really cares about its employees and that mentality is reflected in the daily work environment.
